Write for BadgerBoomers.com
We need people like you to help us find the news and views that matter most to Wisconsin boomers and then write about it. BadgerBoomers.com is looking for boomers who have questions to ask, ideas to share and opinions to express to become regular contributors to the web site. “Badger Boomers” are needed in each of six regions:
- Northwest Wisconsin (Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer, Price, Polk, Barron, Rusk, Taylor, St. Croix, Dunn and Chippewa counties)
- Northeast Wisconsin (Vilas, Florence, Oneida, Forest, Marinette, Lincoln, Langlade, Menominee, Oconto, Marathon, Shawano and Door counties)
- West-Central Wisconsin (Pierce, Pepin, Eau Claire, Clark, Buffalo, Trempealeau, Jackson, Wood, La Crosse, Monroe, Juneau and Adams counties)
- East-Central Wisconsin (Portage, Waupaca, Outagamie, Brown, Kewaunee, Waushara, Winnebago, Calumet, Manitowoc, Marquette, Green Lake, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties)
- Southwest Wisconsin (Vernon, Crawford, Richland, Sauk, Columbia, Iowa, Grant, Dane, Lafayette and Green counties)
- Southeast Wisconsin (Dodge, Washington, Ozaukee, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Rock, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties)
To be considered, please send a short biography and a sample informational article or opinion piece of no more than 500 words to Terry Burrington at burrington “at” charter.net no later than July 31, 2010. Submissions will not be published or shared with anyone outside the web site’s staff. In addition, press releases about upcoming events, places, people and story ideas are welcome at any time.
Those who are chosen as contributors will get to help determine what they will write about and will receive a byline, bio, photo and link to his or her business web site (if applicable) on BadgerBoomers.com’s web site, Twitter and Facebook pages. Financial compensation may be offered in the future.
